Privacy and Street View

Formal notices live on the product and marketing sites (for example Privacy and Terms). Use the links in the app footer or login area when present. This help article does not replace those documents.

Assignments, notes, and exported files may include personal data (for example contact names). Your organisation is responsible for using that data lawfully inside your account.

Some store workflows can show Google Street View imagery under Google’s terms and StoreScout’s consent flow.

Expect:

  • Clear consent before certain loads
  • Restrictions on capturing or exporting Street View pixels contrary to policy
  • When you Report a problem, you can attach a workspace screenshot from Stores and other pages. Do not attach Google Street View or other map-provider imagery — the form shows a short notice; attach still works if you ignore it. Prefer UI screenshots without provider map pixels

If you are unsure whether an image can be used for analysis or sharing, do not upload it until your StoreScout contact confirms.

Submitting Report a problem allows StoreScout to use AI-assisted triage on that report (description, page and browser context, any attached screenshot, and relevant same-workspace issue history) to prepare an internal recommendation. A short notice is shown before submit; there is no separate opt-in tick box. This does not create a shared customer knowledge base or allow automated external actions.

Do not include passwords, payment details, or unnecessary personal data about third parties in a report.
